Commercial Fine Properties acquired this well-located property in 2008 to reposition it as a retail store-front and take full advantage of its excellent freeway visibility.
- The previous owner was a boat dealer who operated his business at this location for 24 years. The property appeared run-down at the time we acquired it and was easily ignored by drivers along the freeway.
- The CFP team recognized that the potential of this property was it’s visibility from the Southwest Freeway which boasts traffic counts of up to 300,000 cars per day.
- CFP created a plan to give the exterior façade more of a retail / storefront appearance which would allow for additional signage and better visibility from the freeway. We also updated the showroom with drop-down ceilings, new tile, and paint for a new retail tenant.
- After a short marketing period, CFP leased the property to a furniture retailer who has enjoyed the improvements to the showroom and increased exposure to the freeway.
